covered just 7k miles since I have had it. Since I have had it, it had had a full service including all filters and plugs, I have replaced the front springs as one failed 6 months ago, the car has been checked over by an ex Merc and Smart technican and given a full bill of health. I am selling due to starting a family. The car has covered just 71000miles, it has black cloth interior, CD player with IPOD docking station, and the sports soft touch option with the paddle shif gearbox. The car has full service history all Smart except last full serivce done by ex merc and smart technican all tyres are excellent. These cars are pretty much bullet proof being built by mercedes, cost of services and upkeep are also cheep. The only bad point I can think of is that the front two alloys could do with a refurb and there is an oil service due, I can have the oil service done for the winning bidder for £80 if you so wish or you can get it done yorself. The MOT has 5 months left as does the tax. Body work will show signs of wear due to age, there are no dents or tears to the interior. It really has been a bit of fun for a couple of years but is now impractical. I am open to offers, but not stupid ones, test drive only on proof of full comp insurance with statement of being able to drive other cars, if not full insurance I do not mind taking you out in it. I will require a £50 deposit by the winning bidder, the car is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to remove from auction at any point. can see in the pictures the car is in very good condition for the year and a real head turner. It has got some nice extras which include air conditioning, heated leather seats, cruise control and an onboard computer. These cars are probably the cheapest fun car around with tax at £95 a year and average fuel consumption of 45-48 mpg, on motorways it averages 60+ mpg. As the picture show the roof comes completely off and there is a space in the boot for the door pillors to be stored, alternatively u can have the roof down with the pillors remaining and this can be done whilst driving. I have got most of the service history for this car with the service book being stamped at 3266 miles, 24692 miles and 31616 miles, i also have a printout for a service done at 16583 miles and this was confirmed by Mercedes benz when i rung them. The last 2 services were done by Westbourne motors in portland road Brighton. The 24692 service was a biggen which did the oil and filter, fuel filter, spark plugs air filter element and v belt. These cars are chain driven so theres no need for any cambelt changes ever. I have got the spare key for the car and some reciepts and a brief owners manuel and some mot certificates, none of which have got any advisories on them, they did verbally tell me the brake discs were wearing out so i had them changed in december just gone, also the pads were changed in late 2010 and have got plenty of life left on them. All the tyres have got lots and lots of tread left on them ( i estimate around 10k miles) I have a HPI certificate stating the car has never been stolen, theft, any oustanding balance or a total loss by insurers. Theres 3 options of gear change, automatic, quick stick shift or the flappy paddles. The performance is very very impressive for engine size and is guaranteed to put a smile on ur face. This car has ALWAYS started 1st time and i have driven it and parked it in torrential rain and it doesnt leak like some roadsters. It has always been garaged when not in use since owning it. I`m going to be as honest as possible on here and will state the only thing not working on the car is the passenger airbag as the picture of dash shows. This is NOT an mot failure and i have paperwork to prove this, the reason i never got it fixed is because they quoted me £300 and i personally dont think its a big deal, also there are a few small stone chips which is to be expected for as car this age and the rear alloys have a few scuffs on them (the picture of the alloy is the one with the most scuffs) This car drives like a dream every time and has never broken down or had any problems of any kind and i will be very sad to see it go because there is a very genuine reason for sale. The tax is until the end of may and the mot is until the 9th of june. These cars are sure to be a classic one day and this one has got low mileage so it should be around for a very long time! Viewing and test drives are very welcome however i will only allow someone to drive who can prove they have insurance, if not though i will be happy to give a lengthy test drive. Please please no test pilots or timewasters, i want this car going to someone who will look after it as much as i have. Everything apart from passenger airbag on this car works and the car has never had any problems of any kind, the new owner is sure to be proud of it!
